Spindrift is a cinematically-driven, psychedelic western rock band based out of Los Angeles, CA, led by singer-songwriter-producer-composer Kirpatrick Thomas. The band has actively toured the U.S. and Europe since 2004 while performing with acts such as X, The Dandy Warhols, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dead Meadow, The Black Angels, and Kurt Vile. They've helped ignite the psychedelic revival of the 2000's, with highlighted performances being Austin Psych Fest, Levitation, Liverpool Psych Fest, SXSW, and more.
Dubbed the “Queen of the High Desert” and well known as the frontwoman for the band Gram Rabbit, Jesika von Rabbit has established a cult following and is currently performing and recording her own new material. LA Weekly has called her “California’s ultimate postmodern, intergalactic pop provocateur” and has been voted Best Front Woman of Coachella Valley at the Coachella Valley Weekly Music Awards twice. This year Jesika is releasing her second album Dessert Rock. While her debut solo record, Journey Mitchell, is laden with new wave-influenced synths, keyboard melodic and infectious dance beats, Dessert Rock is an avalanche of appetizing amalgams that incorporate hints of calypso, sci-fi, psychedelic rock, electro and funk.
