Join us for a casual group ride of the Williamson Valley Road starting from the paved/dirt transition 22 miles north of Prescott to Seligman and back (total distance 92 miles). This ride is for experienced riders although being an out and back you do have the option to start with the group and turn back at any point. We will ride 46 miles to the Chevron/Subway in Seligman just off of I-40. There is only 5000 feet of climbing with the route composed mainly of rolling hills. In fact local transplants from the midwest refer to this route as «the west's most midwestern gravel ride». If you're lucky enough to get selected for the Dirty Kanza this would make an excellent training ride. Also great training for the May 5th Chino Grinder p.b Lauf in the nearby Town of Chino Valley, AZ. SAG will be provided and stocked with Enduro Bites bars, sports drink, Topical Edge, CarboRocket Electrolytes and water. Be prepared to ride the entire distance, there is limited space in the SAG vehicle. Supplies provided by Ironclad Bicycles and High Gear Bike Shop.
