Meridian Equine will be hosting two Western open shows this year, our annual Spring Fling Open Show on April 14th and our Autumn Classic Open Show on October 13th. These are fun, casual, local shows, and a great chance to get in some horse show practice.

Class Definitions

Halter – In Hand class, to be shown in a halter. This class is judged on the horse, based on breed, gender, and conformation.

Showmanship – In Hand class, to be shown in a showmanship halter. Exhibitor will be asked to demonstrate walk & jog for movement. Judged on type, quality, manners, and conformation.

Lead Line Division – Open to riders ages 3 – 6. May not cross over into any other riding class divisions, but may show in hand. The rider is not to be fastened to the saddle in any way. Leader must be over age 18. Classes:
