Need to de-stress? Do you have difficulty relaxing or trouble sleeping? Can’t get those disturbed thoughts and emotions to calm down? Our hectic lives overwhelm our nervous systems—the daily barrage to our senses makes our bodies tense and our minds agitated. Over time, this can have a detrimental effect on our health. An ancient antidote is Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep.” It is a powerful technique to reach an extremely relaxed state of mind—highly alert, yet void of content.
In this class we’ll reduce tension, anxiety, and de-stress completely, allowing our nervous systems to be restored. Healing occurs at an unconscious level as the cells of the body relax deeply and the mind returns to its natural state, fully aware of the present moment.
Please wear comfortable clothing—you will be supported in savasana for most of the class.
