Join us for a dynamic, interactive, fundraising event for the 4th Annual HIV Awareness iKnow Concert Series in Uganda! In collaboration with Swing Dance Nashville and The Moonshine Rhythm Club we will be dancing the night away to raise money for this important work!
We produce the largest free music festival in East Africa with musicians from across the globe who focus on positive messaging about peace, cross-cultural collaboration, and sexual health.
Over the last three years, close to 40,000 people have attended these concerts where free HIV testing has been offered on-site. To date, we have tested approximately 7,500 for HIV and successfully broken the Ugandan national record for HIV testing.
This year we plan to expand to three cities and add to the number of health services that we provide. Our goal is to break the WORLD record for HIV testing in a single day!
The iKnow Concert Series is a shining example of what's been deemed, the «New Orleans Model of International Development». Using music and the arts to draw in the target population — namely, at-risk youth in the prime of both their sexually active and concert-going years — and exposing them to positive messaging and free testing, counseling, and other health services.
This year's Event will be held at The Studio Nashville Saturday August 12th. This event will feature The Moonshine Rhythm Club and sponsorship opportunities. Join us for a memorable evening supporting a most worthy cause!
Tickets are $15 at the door.
