An Invitation to Participate in a “This I Know” Small Group Experience
at OutCentral Nashville
“This I Know” is a highly regarded 7-session small-group discussion experience intended as a companion to the award-winning documentary For the Bible Tells Me So. The goal of these conversations is to encourage learning, listening, story telling and dialogue through review of scripture, personal story, theological reflection, and history of ways in which the church has reacted and responded to members of the LGBTQIA community through time and the impact the church’s teachings have had on children, youth, adults and families.
Beginning September 10th, we’ll meet at OutCentral (outcentral.org -1709 Church Street, Nashville) from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday evenings with the final discussion on October 22nd. Attending all seven sessions is strongly encouraged. There is no fee for participants. Space is limited to 20. Open to the community. To register or ask questions contact Rev.
