You're invited to walk, skip, jog, bike, skate, play and/or lollygag in the street on September 17th!
Open Streets Nashville is a movement to activate people, strengthen businesses, and inspire public spaces by temporarily closing them to cars.
During Open Streets Nashville, 2.5 miles of 12th Avenue South will be open to walkers, bicycle riders, families, musicians, dancers and community members from around Nashville to attend and bring their bicycles, strollers, skateboards, non-motorized scooters, hula hoops and dogs on leashes. Businesses along the street will be invited to open out onto the sidewalk, and a variety of fitness classes and activities will be scheduled in the street along the corridor. The event will be free and open to all Nashvillians.
