For fans of soulful Americana, we bring you Jared Deck. Since releasing his debut self-titled album (produced by Grammy-nominated Wes Sharon), Jared has performed at 2016 AmericanaFest and 2017 SXSW and won the 2016 Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest.
Raised on the dusty plains of an Oklahoma family farm, Jared Deck is a storyteller who has learned the hard way. From oilfield busts to factory outsourcing, Deck understands the plight of the American worker because he’s lived it.
Sam Rochford draws on influences from modern Americana artists like Amanda Shires and the Secret Sisters, as well as paying tribute to classic greats like Bob Dylan and Patsy Cline. She writes songs prolifically and performs all over Nashville in writer's rounds and part of the monthly “Hippie Chick Twang” concert series.
Be sure to check these two out at The Country on July 24!
