Join the Harpeth Conservancy as we put on our 2nd annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival! This event explores environmental issues through film and promotes community building, inspires stewardship and connects people with volunteerism locally. If you have dreamed of going on an EXPEDITION, you'll love the story of a man who hikes 60 days in the Utah canyon country for his 60th birthday with his dog Ace. If you consider yourself an ACTIVIST, you'll want to hear the story a teenage girl who lead her community in the fight against the building of the largest incinerator in Baltimore one mile from her school. Or, if you care about CONSERVATION, you'll be inspired by two women protecting the local caribou species from being removed by the construction of an oil pipeline.
This film festival inspires environmental activism and will motivate you to go out Whether you’re an explorer, activist, conservationist, naturalist, paddler, or just love the outdoors, this film festival is sure to leave you inspired and ready to get involved.
